The CAD Drafter will create precise technical drawings and 3D models of restaurant equipment parts using CAD software. Must be able to determine specifications and dimensions of parts using measuring equipment such as micrometers and radius gages, etc.
A strong foundation in CAD software, attention to detail and precision, skilled in reverse engineering of parts and prior experience as a machinist is helpful.
Requirements
The CAD Drafter will create precise technical drawings and 3D models of restaurant equipment parts using CAD software. Must be able to determine specifications and dimensions of parts using measuring equipment such as micrometers and radius gages, etc.
A strong foundation in CAD software, attention to detail and precision, skilled in reverse engineering of parts and prior experience as a machinist is helpful.
Requirements
- Strong foundation and proficiency in CAD software.
- Solid experience with reverse engineering of parts.
- Ability to use measuring tools to provide precise specs and dimensions including, but not limited to micrometers and radius gages.
- Exceptional and precise attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database or content management systems.
Preferred
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree (or in process) in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.
- Previous experience as a Machinist is helpful.
- Must have experience with reverse engineering of parts and or components
- Experience measuring tools including calibrators, micrometers and radius gages.
Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
