Job Summary
We are looking for an Parts Manager to join the team at our busy parts department.
As the Parts manager you will be responsible for duties ranging from managing service technicians to tracking inventory. You will use your negotiation skills to secure the best prices on inventory and ensure a consistent balance between supply and demand. To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized and have in-depth knowledge of parts. Oversee and manage employees of the parts department. Handle customer inquiries for parts, ship out parts to customers.
Responsibilities
· Assist customers with parts orders
· Ring in customer parts orders and collect payments in the computer system
· Check stock and order parts on a daily basis to replenish inventory
· Make sure to replenish parts that have been asked for from the requisition sheets that our technicians have given you
· Check on the status of all open purchase orders for ETA
· Work with service department to order parts for repair customers
· Make sure customers get charged correct shipping costs for orders
· Research parts pricing to get lowest costs
· Update parts costs in computer system
· Manage inventory going out and enter outgoing parts into invoices
· Manage parts returns- obtain RMA and physically send parts back to vendor
· Ability to use computerized inventory management system and scanning gun.
· Perform cycle counts as instructed
· Perform parts inventory as instructed
· Take in miscellaneous parts into inventory from bulk purchases
· Keep inventory locations organized
· Scheduling, discipline and supervision of parts employees

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
